RMF Design & Manufacturing Inc. specializes in manufacturing complex products, in volumes ranging from a few units to many thousands of units per year. We manufacture surface mount, through-hole, and mixed technology products all under one roof. 

We offer full turnkey, or partial manufacturing services, as listed below:

Component Sourcing & Procurement

  • Purchasing components, including all electronic parts, PCBs, cables, and enclosures

  • Local purchasing for quick delivery and/or offshore sourcing for reduced pricing

  • Incoming inspection including inspection for counterfeit components

  • Creating kits of parts

PCB Assembly & Manufacturing

  • Assembling surface mount and thru-hole electronic parts onto the bare boards

  • RoHS (lead-free) and Non-RoHS (tin-lead) assembly

  • Conformal coating of boards

  • Offshore manufacturing with our overseas affiliate for high volume jobs

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Testing assembled boards

  • Flying probe testing

  • Carrying out hipot and leakage testing to meet medical and other regulatory requirements

  • Writing test procedures

  • Building test jigs

Product Integration & Support

  • Assembling boards into enclosures or cases

  • Providing a warranty for manufactured units

  • Providing long-term support and repair service

  • Writing assembly procedures

  • Evaluating failures and carrying out ongoing product improvement
