ACCESSIBILITY STANDARDS

All visitors to RMF Design and Manufacturing Inc. are by appointment only.

RMF Design and Manufacturing is committed to meeting the information and communication needs of people with disabilities by providing, upon request, materials in accessible formats or with communications supports. We welcome service animals and support persons.

RMF offers secure premises. Access to RMF premises, for all visitors (including for those without physical disabilities) is by appointment only.

Physical Office Accessibility Features

RMF accommodates people with physical disabilities by providing:

  • All visitors are accompanied by RMF staff at all times. If a customer with a disability wishes to visit our premises, a staff member will accompany them and provide access when entering our front door
  • Reserved parking spaces
  • Wheel-chair accessible washrooms and entrances
  • Signage (e.g. for fire escapes, parking spots) that meets Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards and Integrated Accessibility Standards (IAS)

Accessible Customer Service at RMF

RMF Design & Manufacturing is committed to providing accessible services in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code.

1. Website and Promotional Materials

Our website is designed to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards. Upon request, brochures and other promotional materials are available in large print or other accessible formats.

2. Communication

We communicate with customers using the method that best meets their needs — including phone, email, or video conferencing tools such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

3. In-Person Meetings

Our office and meeting rooms are fully wheelchair accessible. If in-person meetings are not suitable, we offer remote options.

4. Accessible Documentation

All customer documents can be provided in large print, plain language, or read aloud, depending on the customer’s preference. We consult with each individual to determine the most appropriate format.

5. On-Site Acceptance Testing

Product acceptance testing can be conducted in our accessible meeting rooms. If needed, tests can be recorded, live-streamed, or described in detail to accommodate different needs.

6. After-Sales Support

Ongoing support is available through the customer’s preferred communication channel.

7. Feedback and Complaints

RMF welcomes feedback on how we provide accessible customer service. Feedback can be submitted by phone, email, or through our website.
